During one of our Guided Imagery Meditations
this week, we journeyed through a Forest Visualisation.
We imagined ourselves walking along
a forest path, delighting in the sights, sounds and smells associated with our
visualisation. We were guided to feel
the cool fresh air, notice the filtered sunlight through the tree canopy and
feel a soft breeze blowing the leaves and the mossy soft path underfoot. The sounds of the forest birdlife and a
mountain stream were melodious and as we sat on a large smooth rock overlooking
a valley and a brilliant blue lake we enjoyed the peace and the unity of nature
surrounding us.

An intriguing discussion is worth comment. There's no doubt that that you need to write more about this subject matter, it may not be a taboo matter but typically people do not discuss these subjects. To the next! Many thanks!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with the previous comment. There are so many more people talking about meditation these days and sharing the good experiences that they have. I have only been meditating for a couple of years but I can really see the benefits every day - I am less stressed and more focused. I have met people who have meditated for around 30 years and they are still dedicated to the practice after all that time and they still reap the benefits that meditation brings. I am learning that the benefits can be very different for different people and it is nice hearing all about how meditation has helped others and in some cases changed their lives.
